I'm just kidding, as you can see, I love the dry humor, I'm a Latino so its just nature for me to live off of it. My dry humor comes out more when I'm placed in awkward situations. Lets just say that if I was in the T.V show, Friends, I would be Chandler. So please don't get offended its just me joking around. If I could use an emoji right now I would definitely use one just so you can tell that I'm legitimately humoring you.
Moving on to something more serious, I would like to start by showing you how my name is pronounce. My name is Joshyo, pronounced (yo_shio). I'm perfectly fine if you want to call me Josh, im sure that's easier and more simple to remember.
Something you should know about me is that I am the middle child or a.k.a the invisible child, if you are the middle child I'm sure you know what I mean. Wish I could say I'm from another city or state in order to sound more interested but no, I was born and raised here in San Diego, California. Even though I was born and raised here in San Diego, I feel that I have not fully explored my city. So every now and then my friends and I take a whole weekend to explore what the city has to offer. Especially the restaurants. My friends and I , we are big on trying to discover "holes in the wall" types of restaurants because they always turn out to be the most enjoyable restaurants that have great food.
If I were to describe myself in short I would say that I am the guy who enjoys a sarcasm, coffee and a good Netflix show. Also I enjoy making friends and getting to know more people because that brings more followers and likes to my pictures on Instagram (joke).
As of this semester, I am currently a junior here at San Diego State University perusing a Bachelors degree in Marketing. With this degree I want to become a merchandise marketer for big name brands such as Prada, Channel, Versace etc. I feel that my job position I have right now its actually helping me get closer to that dream job. Even though I sometimes complain about my job, I try to keep in mind that its just a step closer to what I really want to do. Right now, I should bee out there in the real world looking for this job that I want but, due to some financial issues in 2015 I was force to take a year off and couldn't graduate with the class of 2016. But hopefully I get to graduate this upcoming May 2017.

Since I had more time in my hands I became a full time worker at my current job which is Macy*s. This was suppose to be just a summer job back in 2014 but, I saw my job career growing fast and decided to stay. Now I'm about to hit my 3rd year in May of 2017. That went by fast. I just got offered a new position to shift from department supervisor to floor supervisor,so currently crossing my fingers to get this position.
Macy*s has given me great opportunities through out the years that i have been there but, I don't want to be stuck in retail forever. Listening to customers complain about things you have no control and power over really starts getting old. Anyone that has work retail must be thinking "i know what you mean." It is a great first job but its not for everyone, however you do learn a lot. For example, you learn to have patience, you become a better listener, your social skills improve and you learn to manage your time.
So far, I hope I have not bored you with my introduction nor scared anyone away. If you see me around campus feel free to say hi. I promise not to let my dry humor come out that quick. Also you are more than welcome to leave any comments in my post. Hope this introduction really brought across a little of my identity.Wishing for the best this fall semester and looking forward
to more enjoyable blogs like this one.
